Cookies help us make WAAPIBOX work better for you. This policy explains exactly what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them — in plain language, no jargon.

01

Introduction

Welcome to WAAPIBOX. This Cookie Policy explains how we — and the third parties we work with — use cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use any of our products and services.

We believe in transparency. Cookies aren't a dark art — they're simple text files that help us make your experience smoother, safer, and more relevant. This policy explains exactly how.

By continuing to use WAAPIBOX after seeing our cookie banner, you consent to our use of cookies as described here. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time — see Section 13 for details.

02

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They're widely used to make websites work — and to work more efficiently.

Cookies typically contain:

  • A name — a unique identifier;
  • A value — usually a random string or settings;
  • A domain — which website it belongs to;
  • An expiry date — when it auto-deletes;
  • Security flags like Secure and HttpOnly.

Session vs Persistent Cookies

  • Session cookies: Temporary — deleted when you close your browser. Used for login sessions & shopping carts.
  • Persistent cookies: Stay on your device for a set period (e.g., 30 days, 1 year). Used to remember preferences & analyse usage.

First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies

  • First-party cookies: Set by WAAPIBOX directly — for core functionality & preferences;
  • Third-party cookies: Set by other domains (like Google, Meta) — for analytics & marketing.
Cookies aren't dangerous: They can't run programs, install malware, or steal files from your device. They're just small text records.
03

Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for five main reasons:

  1. Authentication & Security: Keep you logged in & protect against unauthorised access;
  2. Functionality: Remember your preferences — language, dashboard theme, currency;
  3. Performance & Analytics: Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve UX;
  4. Marketing & Personalisation: Show you relevant content & offers across platforms;
  5. Compliance: Store your cookie consent choices & audit trails.
We never: Sell cookie data to third parties, use cookies to track you across unrelated websites without consent, or use cookies to collect sensitive personal information.
04

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on WAAPIBOX are set by third-party services we use to improve the platform. These include:

  • Google Analytics 4 — website & product analytics;
  • Microsoft Clarity — session replay & heatmaps;
  • Meta Pixel — Facebook & Instagram ad tracking;
  • Google Ads — Google ad conversion tracking;
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — LinkedIn B2B ad tracking;
  • Razorpay / Stripe — payment processing & fraud prevention;
  • Intercom / Crisp — live chat & support;
  • Hotjar — user experience research (may be used on some pages).

These third parties may have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you're concerned about tracking.

Note: WAAPIBOX is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. Their cookies are governed by their own policies.
10

Similar Technologies

Besides cookies, we also use other browser-storage technologies:

LocalStorage

  • Stores user preferences & settings in the browser;
  • Not sent to servers with every request — used for faster access;
  • Example: dashboard layout, sidebar state, form drafts.

SessionStorage

  • Temporary storage — cleared when browser tab is closed;
  • Example: multi-step form progress, temporary UI state.

Pixels & Web Beacons

  • Tiny invisible images used in emails to track opens;
  • Example: knowing whether you opened our newsletter;
  • Used for analytics & improving email content.

Fingerprinting

We do not use browser fingerprinting for tracking. We rely on cookies & consent-based analytics instead.

How to Manage Cookies

You have full control over cookies. Here are three ways to manage them:

1. WAAPIBOX Cookie Settings

  • Click "Cookie Settings" in the website footer;
  • Toggle categories on/off;
  • Save preferences — applied instantly.

2. Browser Settings

  • Every modern browser allows you to block or delete cookies;
  • Instructions vary by browser — see Section 13;
  • Blocking essential cookies may break the platform.

3. Opt-Out Links

  • See Section 14 for direct opt-out links for specific third parties;
  • Some third parties offer their own opt-out tools.
Reminder: If you block all cookies, some parts of WAAPIBOX won't function properly — including login.
13

Browser Settings

Here's how to manage cookies in popular browsers:

BrowserWhere to Manage
Google ChromeSettings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Mozilla FirefoxSettings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
SafariPreferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
Microsoft EdgeSettings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
OperaSettings → Privacy & security → Cookies
BraveSettings → Shields → Cookies

For mobile browsers, look under "Settings → Privacy" or "Site settings → Cookies".

14

Opt-Out Links

You can opt out of individual third-party tracking services using their official tools:

  • Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Google Ads: adssettings.google.com
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram): facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
  • LinkedIn: linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out
  • Microsoft Ads: account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings
  • Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org
Note: Opting out doesn't mean you'll stop seeing ads — it means the ads won't be personalised based on your browsing behaviour.
15

Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting not to track your behaviour. We respect this preference.

How WAAPIBOX Handles DNT

  • We honour DNT: 1 signals by disabling non-essential analytics & marketing cookies;
  • We also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals;
  • Essential cookies still run — they're required for platform functionality.

Since DNT is not yet standardised across all browsers, we also provide explicit cookie consent controls for maximum transparency.

16

Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top changes;
  • Material changes are announced via a banner on the website or by email;
  • We may ask for fresh consent if we introduce new cookie categories;
  • Continued use of WAAPIBOX after an update constitutes acceptance.

We recommend reviewing this policy periodically — especially if you care about privacy.
